Promotional Product Ideas for Business Gifting
The end of the year is near.
Summer vacation memories are fading, the kids are back in school, and you can finally find a parking spot at the beach again. While it may not seem like it, it's time to start thinking about year-end client gifts.
Whether you celebrate Hanukkah, Kwanza, or Christmas, year-end gifts are a business tradition. Here are some creative ideas for promoting your company while expressing appreciation to clients, staff and vendors.
Food gifts. With Thanksgiving and the December holidays around the corner, we have many food gifts available. Some companies like to thank their customer’s for a year of loyalty by sending a gift for the Thanksgiving holidays. Cracker packages or a meat and cheese pack will stave off hungry appetites while waiting for a turkey to emerge from the oven. Chocolate, nuts, and cookies are always popular in December. Arrange delivery early in the month for greatest impact.
Card inserts. If you’re planning to send year end
or holiday cards, you can easily slip a calendar, magnet, bookmark, notepad or pen into a
card. Many people use these items (and think of you) all year long.
Financial planning. The end of the calendar year is
a time many people are thinking about their finances and taxes, so a
calculator, memo pad, or jot and add (calculator/memo pad) would be a
great promotional product for your clientele.
Winter needs. Even in San Diego, the weather cools down in winter. Hoody sweatshirts, fleece jackets, and insulated travel mugs are our most popular corporate gifts at this time of year. Luxury blankets, computer bags, work gloves, cozy beanies, and the ever-popular baseball caps are other ways you can express your appreciation while avoiding the challenge of needing to estimate sizes for everyone you'll be gifting.
If you plan to hold a year end open house for your clients, company shirts would be a great way to define your team.
