Most commonly, custom t-shirts are screenprinted (artwork is applied by printing with ink). But some companies prefer to have their logo embroidered (logo applied by stitching with thread). Screenprinting, Embroidery & More

Customized or personalized t-shirts are typically screenprinted or embroidered to add logos and other information to blank apparel. In addition to screenprinting and embroidery, we also offer digital direct-to-garment printing, rhinestones, heat transfers, applique, and other decorating techniques.  Depending on how many custom tees you need, what color your tshirts are, how many colors are in your artwork, and how large you want the artwork on your tshirts, different decorating methods will be more cost effective. Ask us if you need a recommendation. Screenprinting is generally most affordable when you need larger quantities, need to cover a large area with graphics (i.e. full width on a tshirt), or have lots of lettering. Screenprinting is more cost-effective than embroidery for large images and/or very large quantities. For small images and small quantities, screenprinting may be more expensive than embroidery.
